I am using both. Firfox 3.5 and Safari 4 - both on both my caomputers: MS Windows XP and Macintosh OS-X (Leopard).
Yes, Firefox is iincredibly extensible with all those add-ons, however it seems so many of the add-ons listed at Mozilla’s site are marked as “not compatible with this version” - that being 3.5.
